TwinFlux AxionDrive – Efficient Dual-Machine Electric Drive System
The TwinFlux AxionDrive is an innovative electric propulsion system that combines a motor and a generator using a single shared battery. It propels a vehicle or device using a high-efficiency brushless motor, while simultaneously recovering energy through a mechanically-coupled generator. This setup allows energy to be recaptured—such as during coasting or braking—and sent back into the battery, improving overall efficiency and runtime.
Unlike traditional systems, TwinFlux requires only one battery for both powering and charging. The generator uses a rewired 42-coil stator (e.g. from a Fisher & Paykel washing machine) and feeds its output through a rectifier and MPPT charge controller to recharge the battery. A Battery Management System (BMS), optional supercapacitor buffering, and a motor controller ensure safe and optimized operation.
The result is a closed-loop energy system that reduces waste, extends operational time, and demonstrates a smart approach to regenerative energy reuse in electric systems.
